Japanese national donates Rs 200,000 to Palpa school
Bejhad : In a gesture of benevolence, a Japanese national has lent a hand to support studies of children of a local school in Palpa district.
Kajumasa Kakimi, locally known as ‘OK Baje’ donated Rs 200,000 to a revolving fund set up by Chandrodaya Secondary School in Rampur Municipality-1 to uplift education quality of the students. Japanese national Tadeka helped to set up the fund.
Kakimi handed a cheque for Rs 200,000 to head teacher of the school, Tanka Nath Pokharel, amid an event. Industrious children from the Dalit community and poor economic background from the school wanting to pursue science up to BSc level can get economic assistance, said Pokharel.
