APF border outposts to be set up at 21 places at border with China, India in Province-1
Paanchthar : Base camps of Armed Police Force Nepal would be set up at 21 different places of Province no 1 bordering with China and India for the security.
Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of Province no 1, Indra Bahadur Aangbo said so while monitoring the bordering area of Chiwabhanjyang of Paanchthar district. Minister Aangbo said that border outposts established at China and India bordering places of the province would help reduce criminal activities and smuggling.
Saying the border security is at high-priority of the provincial government, he said that necessary budget has been allocated for the arrangement of check points. The provincial government has allocated Rs 1.75 million for border security, he added.
Minister Aangbo said that problem would be resolve through diplomatic channel if there is any cross-border problem at bordering areas.
