NCP Chair Dahal responds to queries on joint report
Kathmandu : Nepal Communist Party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today replied to queries surrounding the joint report presented by NCP chairs KP Sharma Oli and Dahal at the NCP standing committee meeting.
Following the deliberation on the report in the meeting that started from December 15, Dahal expressed the hope that the discussion would help the party become united and fulfill its national responsibility.
He also viewed that a taskforce should be formed for strengthening party’s organisation. The report has issues of party’s work and activities, a unity of party’s district-level sister organisations and the government’s achievements so far among others.
NCP’s another Chair Oli is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) to respond to queries on the report. The report will be amended as per need before getting passed.
The meeting also extended its condolence to the late party leader Yogendra Shah, and the bereaved family. Shah died on Tuesday night. The committee meeting will next meet tomorrow (Thursday) at 3 pm at party central office in Dhumbarahi.
