Three players of national cricket team leaving for Australia

Kathmandu : Three players of the national cricket team including Captain are leaving for Australia tonight to participate in the ‘Expert Festival’ in which various sports activities will be held.

The festival also features interactions with Australian cricket players and supporters, said the organiser at a press conference here today.

To be organised by the Expert Education and Visa Services (EEVS) with managerial support from the Nepalaya International, the festival will take place on December 30 in Melbourne, on January 5 and 6 in Sydney, on January 10 in Brisbane and on January 12 in Adelaide.

A twenty-20 series cricket match will also be played under the Festival where the Nepali team players — Captain Paras Khadka, Deependra Singh Airee and Subash Pradhan–will join various Australian teams.

Speaking at the event, Captain Khadka, who is also a brand ambassador for the EEVS, viewed that such festival would help develop cricket in the country, and encourage players.
