Nepal beats China by 10 wickets
Kathmandu : Nepal has thrashed China by 10 wickets under the ICC World T-20 Qualifiers Group B.
In a match held in Bayuemas Oval Cricket Stadium in Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur today, Nepal registered a thumping victory against its rival China. It is Nepal’s fifth consecutive win in the match.
Nepal had won the toss and had chosen bowling. China, invited to bat first, secured 26 runs in 13 overs loosing all the wickets. China’s seven batsmen were all out for duck while Hong Ziyang could only managed 11 runs.
Much to the dismay of China, no other batsmen from China could score runs.
As for Nepali team, Sandeep Lamichhane, Basanta Regmi and Lalit Rajbanshi took three wickets each. The Nepali team, which was given a target of 27 runs by the Chinese team, obtained the target in 11 balls without loosing any wicket.
Opener Binod Bhandari and Pradeep Airee scored 24 and 4 runs respectively.
Nepal will play against Singapore in the last match of the Qualifier on coming Friday. Nepal is in top rank with 10 scores winning five subsequent matches.
China is ranked lowest with no scores as it has not emerged a winner in a any matches in this qualifying match.
