Kathmandu-Raksaul railway study soon
Kathmandu : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he had developed some understandings with India bearing in mind the national interest and integrity.
At the fifth annual general meeting of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association here today, Prime Minister said the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with India would add newer dimensions in the areas of agriculture, railways and agriculture.
Both Nepali and Indian sides would undertake study soon for the construction of Kathmandu-Raksaul railway, he said, sharing that the government is doing its groundwork with the mission to operate waterways hoisting Nepali flag.
Prime Minister Oli further said that the government would secure investments of the business people while sharing plan for the development of physical infrastructure and expansion of employment opportunities.
“The government would come up with strict laws to act tough against those who involve in irregularities”, he clarified. Federation Chairperson Mohan Sunar informed that around 25,000 entrepreneurs have been involved in the gold and silver business across the country.
