CM Gurung’s best wishes on Day on Elimination of Discrimination
Pokhara : Chief Minister of Gandaki State, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has underscored the need of ending all kinds of discrimination in the society.
Giving a message of best wishes on the occasion of the National Day of Elimination of Ethic Discrimination and Untouchability today, CM Gurung said time has come for Nepal to ensure economic equality, prosperity and social justice by eliminating discrimination based on class, caste, region, language, culture and gender.
Jesth 21 of Nepali calendar is marked as the National Day of Elimination of Ethic Discrimination and Untouchability since the Council of Minister took a decision to this on June 1, 2006. The oppressed society in Nepal has been marking the Day with special importance. (RSS)
