World Link to provide free Wi-Fi to 10,000 places

Kathmandu : The WorldLink, internet service provider company, announced to provide free Wi-Fi to various 10,000 places across the country within the next year.

WorldLink is currently providing such services to 3,000 hotspots under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) where the users could avail free internet for one and half hour once they log in.
Plans to install free Wi-Fi in popular heritage sites, Airports, restaurants and public places are also afoot, according to Chief Executive Director Keshav Nepal.

One of the leading private internet service providers in the country, WorldLink, has also planned to expand the internet service to Darchula, Bajhang, Bajura, Solukhumbu and Taplejung within a year, shared Nepal.  He informed process has been forwarded to expand a high speed internet in the remote districts in Karnali districts such as Dolpa, Mugu, Humla, Jumal and Annapurna Base Camp among others within a year.

Furthermore, WorldLink, which boasts 280,000 regular customers, aims to provide the fiber internet in all 753 local units within 2022. (RSS)
