Speaker Mahara, coordinator Bhattarai inquire about PM’s health status
Kathmandu, Oct 30 : Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara today paid a visit to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Teaching Hospital at Maharajgunj and wished him quick recovery of his health.
The Prime Minister is receiving medical treatment at the Teaching Hospital after suffering from cold, cough and light fever. Speaker Mahara had reached the hospital at 8 am to see the Prime Minister.
After meeting the Prime Minister, Speaker Mahara quoted the doctors as telling hom that the PM’s health was gradually improving.
Likewise, coordinator of the Naya Shakti Party Nepal and former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai had also reached the Teching Hospital this morning to inquire about Prime Minister Oli’s health condition.
Prof Dr Arun Sayami who is among the physicians attending on Prime Minister Oli in his treatment said, “Prime Minister Oli had his breakfast this morning. He also shaved. He has been talking easily with the well-wishers coming to visit him.”
The Hospital had informed the journalists about the Prime Minister’s health status through the physicians’ team involved in the PM’s treatment at 10 am.
There is a large presence of party leaders and cadres as well as well-wishers at the hospital premises to learn about the PM’s health and wish him well.
PM Oli was admitted to the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre at Maharajgunj on Monday due to chest infection.
