Myanmar beats Philippines 5-1 in the final of AFC U16 Women’s Qualifier
Kathmandu : Myanmar defeated Philippines 5-1 in the final match of the AFC U16 Women’s Championship Qualifier played today on the ground of the Armed Police Force at Halchowk, Kathmandu.
With this, Myanmar with nine points alongside Philippines has set out on a journey into the AFC U16 Women’s Championship to be held next year in Thailand. Philippines have got six points.
Four teams from host Nepal, and Malaysia, Myanmar and Philippines (all categorized in Group ‘E’) participated in the Qualifier. Nepal and Malaysia have already been eliminated from the Qualifier however. They are playing a prestige match at 3:30 today.
